Apple Marketing Australia/NZ in conjunction with iTunes Radio Australia/NZ explored big beats, personal expression and bold visuals for the launch of iTunes Radio in the Asia/Pacific region.

We developed the film for Apple's launch of iAD Asia/Pacific through iTunes. Kin developed, directed, designed and provided post-production for an epic 4-week turnaround. The project included approvals from CEO Tim Cook and the only and only Dr Dre. The music track, a Just Blaze / Jay-Z collab, meant both artists also had a say in the final product. A touch of hip-hop royalty for this project.

We kept the concept simple –  a dancer's personal expression, enabled by the music she listens to via iTunes Radio. And given Apple had loved our Future Proof film we had a good starting point. This time, strict brand parameters guided the visuals, including some tight constraints around the 2D and 3D graphics. Crisp, clear and with no depth of field was the desired aesthetic with our dancer immersed in a cloud-like tech space. The addition of hand-drawn animation added a more personal touch.
